Aberdeen twice took the lead against Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich but had to settle for a first leg draw in the UEFA Cup clash at Pittodire.Scottish Premier side Aberdeen were not given much chance against big-spending Bayern but gave a battling performance which will give their fans hope for the return leg in Germany.

1 - 0 Josh Walker (24 minutes)

Walker curled in a great effort from 20 yards beyond Bayern keeper Michael Rensing.


1 - 1 Miroslav Klose (29 minutes)

Klose equalised just five minutes later, half volleying in from a flick from Luca Toni.


2 - 1 Sone Aluko (41 minutes)

The Dons took the lead again before the break when Aluko latched onto a flick from Lee Miller and volleyed home.


2 - 2 Hamit Altintop (54 minutes)

Bayern needed just nine minutes of the second half to equalise, when Altintop drilled in the rebound after seeing his initial penalty kick saved by Jamie Langfield.
