Amir Khan tackles veteran Michael Gomez at the National Indoor Arena where unbeaten Khan defends his Commonwealth lightweight title.

Khan, unsurprisingly is expected to wipe the floor with Gomez, who turns 31 on the day of the fight and is a decade older than the champion. The Bolton fighter has won all 17 of his professional bouts, 13 by knockout.

He announced he had retired from boxing and surely the fight against Khan is his last chance to resurrect a career which began 13 years ago.
