Nicklas Bendtner rescued a point for Arsenal against Aston Villa in stoppage time to prevent Manchester United from going top of the Premiership.

Aston Villa looke setfor a shock victory at the Emirates Stadium when Phillipe Senderos put into his own net after 27 minutes but young Danish striker Bendtner equalised with the last kick of the game.

A low driven cross from Gabriel Agbonlahor was turned into his own net by defender Sendero from close range.

Bendtner, on as a substitute, stabbed infrom close range after Emanuel Adebayor headed on a cross on in the six yard box.
