Bayern Munich crushed Aberdeen in Germany and cruised through to the last 16 of the UEFA Cup 8-3 on aggregate.

Despite a spirited draw in Scotland, Aberdeen were swept away by arguably the strongest side left in the competition in Bayern Munich, who went 4-0 up before the Pittodrie side netted a consolation late on.
