A remarkable draw for 10-man Birmingham City was overshadowed by a horrific injury to Arsenal striker Eduardo.

Birmingham City salvaged a draw with a penalty in the fifth minute of stoppage time but this achievement was marred by the first half sending off of Martin Taylor, who’s horrific tackle on Arsenal’s Eduardo saw the Croatian stretchered off.

1 - 0 James McFadden (28 minutes)

A dubious free kick decision enabled £5.75 million signing McFadden fire in from the edge of the box, taking a slight deflection on the way.

1 - 1 Theo Walcott (49 minutes)

Walcott scored his first Premiership goal for the Gunners four minutes after the break, hooking in a corner from close range.

1 - 2 Theo Walcott (55 minutes)

The teenage added his second six minutes later, striking in from the edge of the box after a promising run.

2 - 2 James McFadden (penalty 90 minutes)

Despite Gael Clichy appearing to have won the ball, a penalty was awarded, enabling McFadden to score his second of the match five minutes into injury time.
