Chelsea eased into the quarter finals of the Champions League with a comfortable 3-0 victory against Greek side Olympiakos.

After a goalless first leg draw in Greece,Chelsea were favourites to progress with the second leg at Stamford Bridge. Two goals in the opening 25 minutes sealed victory, while a third added some gloss to a aggregate scoreline.

1 - 0 Michael Ballack (six minutes)

German international Ballack settled any nerves with a header from a Frank Lampard cross to break the deadlock after just six minutes.

2 - 0 Frank Lampard (25 minutes)

Lampard got on the scoresheet himself when he tapped in a rebound after Ballack saw his effort saved by goalkeeper Antonios Nikopolidis.

3 - 0 Salomon Kalou (48 minutes)

Kalou added a third three minutes into the second hlaf when he poked in a Lampard corner for his first Champions League goal.
