Chicago Fire grabbed a stoppage time winner against Toronto FC to move into third place in the Eastern Conference.
Both sides looked to settle for a draw with the score at 1-1 until the clocked ticked into stoppage time and former Manchester United trainee John Thorrington won it from close range.
1 - 0 Chris Rolfe (six minutes)
Striker Rolfe broke the deadlock after just six minutes when he turned and shot into the far corner from 20 yards, his fourth goal of the season.
1 - 1 Abdus Ibrahim (63 minutes)
Amado Guevera played a through ball to Ethiopian-born striker Ibrahim, who touched past goalkeeper Jon Busch and rolled the ball into an empty net.
2 - 1 John Thorrington (90 minutes)
Justin Mapp looped a header into the box and former Huddersfield Town and Grimsby Town midfielder Thorrington slid the ball through the legs of Greg Sutton.
