FC Dallas edged further away from the bottom of the Western Conference with a draw against Colorado Rapids.

FC Dallas recovered from 1-0 down to lead 2-1 but their advantage lasted all of three minutes as the Rapids equalised from a move started by former Manchester United youngster Terry Cooke.

0 - 1 Hercules Gomez (five minutes)

Dallas full back Adrian Serioux could not clear a long ball from Mehdi Ballouchy and former Los Angeles Galaxy striker Gomex fired in from inside the penalty area.

1 - 1 Kenny Cooper (penalty, 49 minutes)

Ghana striker Dominic Oduro was elbowed by Colorado defender Facundo Erpen in the penalty area and Cooper converted the resulting spot kick four minutes into the second half.

2 - 1 Juan Toja (64 minutes)

Senegal goalkeeper Bouna Coundoul was at fault for Dallas’ second as he attempted to punch away a cross from Marcelo Saragosa. He missed and Cooper headed the ball on for Colombian midfielder Toja to slot into an empty net.

2 - 2 Conor Casey (67 minutes)

Casey equalised with the Rapids first shot of the second half when he headed in a Christian Gomez cross from close range.
