The Feyenoord Tournament hosts will face a club with a recent history of calamity and hardship when Dutch side Feyenoord plays Borussia Dortmund of the Bundesliga and each will be aiming to put in some impressive performances, especially in this crucial build-up to the upcoming campaign.

Despite being considered one of the “Big three” clubs in Dutch football, Feyenoord only managed to finish in sixth place last season. The Rotterdam club will hope a strong performance in their home tournament will trigger the confidence to improve in the upcoming season.
