Scotland midfielder Darren Fletcher was in inspired form as he scored twice for Manchester United who dumped Arsenal out of the FA Cup.

Manchester United were scintilating against an Arsenal side who just didn’t turn up for the FA Cup fifth round tie at Old Trafford. United went at the Gunners from the off and found themselves 3-0 ahead at the break. Arsenal’s cause was not helped when Emanuel Eboue received a straight red card four minutes into the second half.

1 - 0 Wayne Rooney (16 minutes)

Rooney, who played exceptionally well all match, broke the deadlock early on when he headed in an Anderson flick on.

2 - 0 Darren Fletcher (18 minutes)

Fletcher made it two goals in as many minutes when he headed in a cross from Nani.

3 - 0 Nani (38 minutes)

Nani blasted in from inside the box after being set up by Michael Carrick.

4 - 0 Darren Fletcher (73 minutes)

Fletcher headed in his second of the match when he converted a cross from the excellent Nani.
