A bizarre own goal in stoppage time gifted Middlesbrough passage to the FA Cup quarter finals at the expense of Sheffield United.

Middlesbrough squandered a host of chances during the game and it wasn’t until the final minute of extra time where they found a breakthrough. A shot by Mido bounced up off Blades defender Chris Morgan, came back off the goal post and was punched into the net by goalkeeper Paddy Kenny.

A real sickener for goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, who punched the ball into the net when he had more time than he realised to scoop it away to safety.
