Motherwell have been having an astounding season so far and their third place position in the league is well deserved. However, there are a few positions in which the team is going to have to pick up its game if they are to defeat Scottish Premier leaders Celtic this weekend.

The Bhoys will be looking for another three points against Motherwell this weekend and Mark McGhee’s side will be hard pressed to deny them. It is vital that Celtic maintain the momentum that last weekend’s win against Rangers will have given them because the two sides are neck and neck in the league. As stated by McDonald, it is still unclear how significant last week’s victory will be, and much will come down to how both Rangers and Celtic finish their remaining games.

Back to back victories against Rangers in the Scottish Premier has seen Celtic go five points clear at the top of the league, but they have played three matches more than Walter Smith’s side.
