The Netherlands prepared for their Euro 2008 campaign with a routine 2-0 victory against a young Wales side.

Getting into a winning habit will be important for the Netherlands as they are placed in the Euro 2008 “Group of death” alongside Italy, France and Romania.

1- 0 Arjen Robben (35 minutes)

Former Chelsea ace Robben broke the deadlock when he made a run from deep and finished coolly past the helpless Wayne Hennessey from inside the box.

2 - 0 Wesley Sneijder (54 minutes)

Robben’s Real Madrid team mate, Wesley Sneijder, doubled the lead nine minutes after the break when he whipped in a free kick from 25 yards out.
