Panathinaikos 1 Rangers 1 Highlights

Rangers struck a dramatic late equaliser against Panathinaikos to progress ahead of the Greek side on the away goals rule.

Rangers looked down and out of the UEFA Cup after conceding a goal after just 12 minutes. Needing to score following a goalless first leg at Ibrox, Nacho Novo smashed in an equaliser with nine minutes left.

1 - 0 Ioannis Goumas (12 minutes)

Goumas scored a superb goal for Panathinaikos, striking a half volley from outside the area which screamed into the top corner.

1 - 1 Nacho Novo (81 minutes)

A poor clearance fell into the path of former Dundee striker Novo who smashed in from six yards to take the Gers into the last 16.
