PSV Eindhoven progressed in the UEFA Cup after a 6-5 penalty shoot out victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs manager Juande Ramos has failed in his bid to win a third successive UEFA Cup after being dumped out of the competition by Dutch side PSV. Dimitar Berbatov forced extra time with a goal nine minutes from the end but with the aggregate tied at 1-1, penalty kicks ensued.

0 - 1 Dimitar Berbatov (81 minutes)

Pascal Chimbonda swept over a cross and Berbatov volleyed in emphatically from the edge of the box.
