Roma 2 Real Madrid 1 Highlights

Roma beat Real Madrid at home for the first time in four attempts but the La Liga side managed a precious away goal and will be favourites to progress.

Real Madrid took an early lead against Roma and looked set for a fourth consecutive victory at the Stadio Olimpico but goals from Pizarro and Mancini earned a home win for the Serie A side.

Guti struck a ball from Arjen Robben and Raul, played onside by Pizzaro, helped it in from close range.

1 - 1  David Pizzaro (24 minutes)

The Chilean struck a hard and low strike which took a deflection off Gago and past goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

2 - 1 Mancini (58 minutes)

Francesco Totti threaded a pass through to the Brazilian, who side-stepped Casillas and tapped into an unguarded net to complete the turnaround.
