Tottenham Hotspur are still looking for the first win of the season when Aston Villa visit White Hart Lane on Monday night.

Once again Tottenham Hostpur have suffered another poor start to the season with defeats against Middlesbrough and Sunderland. In their last game, they earned a suprise point against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in a 1-1 draw thanks to a goal from Darren Bent.

However they couldn’t continue that form and saw themselves loose 3-2 away at Stoke City. Following that disappointment, they got back on track with a 0-0 draw against Liverpool, which was their first clean sheet in the league of the season.

In that game they could have claimed all three points, with Laursen missing a good late chance with a header during the last few minutes of action.

In team news for Aston Villa, defender Carlos Cuellar is set to make his Villa debut after recovering from a calf problem. Craig Gardner withdrew from the England Under-21 squad in midweek but is expected to fit, while Steve Sidwell is unlikely to play due to a knee problem.
