Liverpool were held to a draw against Polish side Wisla Krakow in a friendly match staged in Switzerland.

Rafa Benitez opted to field a weakened team, although Andrea Dossena madehis debut following a summer swicth from Udinese, while Wisla sent out a full-strength side.

Ukranian striker Voronin latched into a cross from Yoss Benayoun but smashed a six-yard shot straight at goalkeeper Mariusz Pawelek. He struck home the rebound from close range.

1 - 1 Tomas Jirsak (12 minutes)

Czech Republic midfielder Jirsak levelled for the Polish champions six minutes later when he sidefooted in from six yards.
